Erica and Paul Bartram would like to welcome you to Bousdale Old Stables self catering holiday cottage on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The holiday accommodation is particularly spacious and comfortable. It is a recent quality conversion of Victorian buildings at Bousdale Farm and as it's name suggests, used to house working horses.
The cottage rests in the backdrop of acres of arable land and forestry in the foothills of Roseberry Topping. It's elevated location lies between the village of Great Ayton (childhood home of Captain Cook) and the historic market town of Guisborough, amongst a myriad of footpaths and bridleways. We are only one mile across the fields from the Cleveland Way and the Heritage Ride for horseback riding. Walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers are offered the rare chance to explore outstanding countryside literally from the doorstep.
There are many tourist attractions easily accessible by car for your 'rest' days. Families and their well-behaved pets are very welcome.
